Lisa M. Robinson has spent the past five years photographing her Snowbound series, seeking out snowstorms to capture images of man-made objects sunken in snow. The snowscapes look beyond the obvious photographs of snow, depicting different forms of this primary element—ice, snow, fog, and water. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and she has received various awards including a Fulbright Fellowship. She was recently named the Evelyn Stefansson Nef Fellow at Macdowell Colony and was nominated for a Louis Comfort Tiffany grant.
