Zana Briski
Brothel is a 130-page, cloth-bound book that includes fifty-four tritone photographic reproductions. sanguinetti2.jpg On the Sixth Day
Alessandra Sanguinetti
This eighty-page cloth-bound book includes sixty-one color reproductions. Sanguinetti’s vivid photographs depict the coexistence of people and animals in an arrestingly honest portrayal. She made these pictures by roadsides, in fields, and in woods near her home in a province of Buenos Aires. Her photographs reveal and describe with clarity the rituals and traditions of the local farmers whose lives interweave with a host of domestic animals caught in the cycle that is life and death. The work in On the Sixth Day goes beyond straight documentary practice and evokes an intimacy that, confounding our sensibilities, is a privilege to experience.

Toby Old Times Squared
Toby Old
This 120-page cloth-bound book includes 114 duotone reproductions. The photographs in the book represent four bodies of work, Times Square, Boxing, Fashion, and Disco—or simply put, the street, the arena, fiction, and sex. Toby Old is looking through the viewfinder in the tradition of Weegee, Robert Frank, and Diane Arbus. He is not simply interested in capturing the bizarre or the grotesque; the underlying draw for him is the action. The New York Times said, “He is unflinching, his pictures not always easy to look at but always entertaining.”

Vincent Cianni
This 150-page cloth-bound book includes hundreds of duotone and four-color reproductions. The book is the culmination of a decade-long project that looks at a group of Latino boys in Williamsburg, Brooklyn whose passion is in-line skating. For the project Cianni documented them on and off their skates to provide a vivid portrait of their lives through photographs, video stills, and commentary from the skaters themselves. A DVD with footage of the skaters and an interview with Cianni is also included.
