Contact Sheet is one of the longest-running art photography publications in the world. Published since 1977 by Light Work, a non-profit, artist-run photography center in Syracuse, NY, the design of Contact Sheet has evolved over the years from a newsletter format to more extended catalogues of beautifully reproduced color and duotone photographs by important emerging and mid-career artists.
Contact Sheet is designed in the tradition of fine art photography
monographs and is completely commercial free. Many important
photographers have been included in the early stages of their careers, including
James Casebere, Cindy Sherman, Andres Serrano, Zeke Berman, Laurie Simmons, and Carrie Mae Weems. This is one of the many reasons why Contact Sheet is valued by museums, libraries, artists, and collectors around the world.
