What Makes a Family?
What makes a family is a variety of things to each individual. A definition of family doesn't quite exist. There are many different kinds of families. I consider my family to be mostly non-blood—people that are there for you when you wonder if any one will ever look for you. People you can trust, who you love and can rely on, people you know won't stab you in the back. Honestly, people who you can call at 4am when your dog has run away, people you can cry in front of over the worst heartbreak imaginable, people who wonder where the hell you are when you're stuck in a jail cell. This is my family. Did I forget my dog Murphy? Because he is the closest family I have.
Love & Respect.
Caring. We are family because we look out for each other, give each other the room to fail, succeed, and go the distance. We watch out for each other, never letting any of us walk alone through the dark times.
