Join Light Work’s Urban Video Project for Guerilla Bread a special participatory performance with artist Zelikha Zohra Shoja in the Everson Community Plaza on Friday, September 4 from 8-9:00 p.m.

Guerilla Bread is a communal offering of tea and bread, alongside a food performance in tandem with Shoja’s film In Search of Bluer Tongues. The performance emerges in response to colonial legacies, specifically the fifth anniversary of the US-NATO withdrawal in Afghanistan, and explores bread rituals that blur the relationship between the guest and the host.

This event is FREE & OPEN to the public.
