This summer, a collective of Curious Creatures visited Teens with a Movie Camera — exploring Syracuse, making discoveries, and recording observations about human life on Planet Earth. This is a record of that visit.

Teens with a Movie Camera (TwMC) is a community art project, intergenerational filmmaking collective, and hands-on collaboration in which teens in the city of Syracuse, New York work together with local media artists, including film professors and Syracuse University students. Their ethos comes from the tradition of independent cinema and low-budget filmmaking: “Work with what you have, where you are. Be smart, make art!”
