Contact Sheet 197: Light Work Annual 2018 features work produced by the 2017 Light Work Artists-in-Residence Matthew Connors, John Edmonds, Jennifer Garza-Cuen, Andres Gonzalez, Nicola Lo Calzo, Sara Macel, Ingrid Pollard, Flurina Rotenberger, Jessica Segall, Hrvoje Slovenc, Maija Tammi, and Rodrigo Valenzuela. The publication also includes work by 2017 Light Work Grant Recipients Mary Helena Clark, Joe Librandi-Cowan, and Stephanie Mercedes, as well as a recap of the year of Urban Video Project (UVP) exhibitions and commission with artist Marie Lorenz. Featuring texts by Jeffrey Hoone, Andrianna Campbell, Jessica Bell Brown, David Levi Strauss, Ken Schles, Max Lakin, Ashlyn Davis, Catherine Hall, Nadine Wietlisbach, Etienne Turpin, Ágnes Bercez, Katherine Oktober Matthews, Charles Tonderai Mudede, Cjala Surratt, and Anneka Herre.
