Arhant Shrestha

Arhant Shrestha was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal, where he still resides today. His work draws from personal childhood memory and an intimate relationship with his home city. Starting in his mid teens, he has consistently made work in and about Kathmandu.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Bard College, New York in 2022. He has exhibited his work as part of the 2022 Kathmandu Triennale, and participated in the 18th edition of the Angkor Photo Workshops in 2023.
In 2024, he won the grand prize in photography at the 39th Hyères Festival for his series Between Space and Memory. He was selected as one of the British Journal of Photography’s
Ones to Watch for 2025.
