Mollie McKinley

Mollie McKinley is an interdisciplinary artist living in New York State’s Hudson Valley. She uses her practice to forge relationships between photographic image and sculpture. McKinley has shown her work widely at sites including Anthology Film Archives, Fridman Gallery, Independent Curators International, NADA, Pioneer Works, UrbanGlass, The Dorsky Museum at SUNY New Paltz, and The Museum of Arts and Design. Wheaton Arts awarded her a fellowship in glass in 2018. McKinley holds a BA in photography from Bard College and an MFA in sculpture/dimensional studies from Alfred University. Private collections hold her work, as does the permanent collection of the Samuel Dorsky Museum. McKinley’s work has appeared in Artforum, Fjords Review, Hyperallergic, New Glass Review (Corning Museum of Glass), The Chronogram, and Vice. She contributed to How-To Kit (2023), a publication of the Walker Art Center and the Dia Art Foundation.
