Indigenous Peoples’ Day: Celebrate and Refocus

Light Work’s Urban Video Project (UVP) is honored to feature a short film program as part of Indigenous Peoples’ Day: Celebrate and Refocus, a community day and celebration of Haudenosaunee culture.

Haudenosaunee artists will give free demonstrations of their craft, singing and social dancing, and Haudenosaunee food and craft will be for sale.

UVP will project a program of short films exploring creation and creators in Haudenosaunee culture from 7-8:00 p.m.

This event is presented by Women of Italian and Syracuse Heritage in Central New York (WISH CNY) and Neighbors of the Onondaga Nation (NOON) with support from CNY Community Foundation and in collaboration with the Everson Museum and Onondaga Nation.
